Five Star Professional recognized Laura Kuntz  as a Five Star Wealth Manager Award Winner for 2023. This is Laura’s 6th time winning this annual award.

A list of winners appears in the January 2023 issues of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business magazine.

Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or to win. The award, administered by Crescendo Business Services, LLC (dba Five Star Professional), is based on 10 objective evaluation criteria.

Founded in 2003, Five Star award is the largest program of its kind in North America. It conducts market research to recognize wealth management professionals who show a commitment to clients and strong industry credentials.

Best Financial Advisors in Minneapolis has included Laurel Wealth Planning on its list of best financial advisors in Minneapolis for 2022., established in 2016, identifies the top service professionals in more than 200 industries. The researchers start by identifying a broad pool of active providers within a given business category and geographical area. They then grade each provider on reputation, credibility, experience, availability, and professionalism, analyzing publicly available data.

Top providers to be included on the list are selected based on their overall score and are displayed alphabetically on the website. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered for or added to the list.

Top Women in Finance

Senior Wealth Manager Laura Kuntz was one of the 2020 Top Women in Finance in Minnesota, named by the business newspaper Finance & Commerce. Each year, the newspaper recognizes women who make an impact in their professions and communities. Women do not pay a fee to be considered or to win.

Laura works to support other women in the male-dominated industry of wealth management. She mentors colleagues and is always open to a chat with those who want to connect about the industry.

She is also a member of the Goddesses of Financial Planning, a group of women financial advisory firm owners. The group supports each other by sharing strategic advice and best practices. They celebrated their 25th anniversary by donating $25,000 to the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standard’s Center for Financial Planning. The center works to increase diversity in the industry, which is only 23% women.
