Client Service Associate

We are seeking a Client Service Associate, who will play a critical role in fulfilling client needs. As the first person to greet clients when they call or visit, the CSA creates a lasting positive impression, greeting with warmth and attentive listening.

The CSA works closely with other members of the client service and wealth management team to fulfill client requests and carry out operational and administrative tasks for the firm

This is a full-time position that offers substantial benefits. It may lead to advanced client service roles, a paraplanner position or other roles depending on contribution and skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and visitors and maintain hospitality.
  • Meet client service needs via telephone, Zoom, email and in person.
  • Manage meeting scheduling.
  • Conduct client account work such as establishing new accounts, completing money transfers, sending quarterly investment results; sending forms via DocuSign; scanning documents; and activating a client portal.
  • Work closely with Wealth Managers to prepare materials for client meetings and implement follow-up steps.
  • Suggest process improvements and enhancements.
  • Gather regulatory information and provide compliance support.
  • Manage office supplies and environment; mail; printing services.
  • Support employees through benefits paperwork and team-building events.
  • Data entry into client relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Complete quarterly reports/billing pre-work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comfortable with technology and data entry. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and a CRM.

Education/Experience

  • Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of office administrative experience, financial services a plus.

Compensation

  • Base salary: Based on skills and experience. Eligible for overtime.

Investment Associate / Associate Wealth Manager

We are look for someone to analyze and recommend changes to client investment portfolios and support Wealth Managers in client service and advice, often communicating directly with clients and client advisors.

We envision the investment related duties, such as performing trade operation processes and procedures, accounting for approximately 60% of this role. The remainder of this full-time position will include partnering with Wealth Managers on client advice, analysis, and service.

  • Investment Associate II / Associate Wealth Manager II
  • Wealth Manager and/or Portfolio Manager
  • Senior Wealth Manager and/or Director of Investments

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High initiative, drive, and dedication.
  • Writes clearly and informatively, presents numerical data effectively.
  • Possess ability to read and interpret financial information.
  • Working knowledge of financial and investment terminology and concepts.
  • Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.  Prefer experience with Tamarac, Morningstar, CRM, and Money Guide Pro (GPM).
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal/written skills.
  • Team player.
  • Adapts well to changing work environment and manages competing demands.
  • Prioritizes and plans own work activities; works independently and in a team environment.

 Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in financial planning, finance, economics, business, or accounting. If liberal arts degree, financial credentials such as Series 65 license, CFP, or CFA.
  • Academic excellence reflected in your GPA (3.5 or higher).
  • At least 3 years of investment or financial planning industry experience. Experience in trading preferred.
