As a Client Service Associate at Laurel Wealth Planning, Julia Faxon provides dedicated support to our clients at our full-service, fee-only firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A sounding board and voice of reason, the firm guards clients’ financial interests and goals at all times, freeing them to live the lives they want. In her role, Julia goes the extra mile and focuses on details to help enhance the client experience. Dependable and adaptable, Julia shows up when things are difficult, and learns from every experience to make next time even better. She is always there to listen, genuinely cares about clients’ thoughts and concerns, and incorporates their wants and needs into everything she does. She is passionate about using her skills to help facilitate the goals and dreams of clients and loves playing a tiny role in their successes.
Julia obtained a bachelor’s degree in Community Health & Child Development from Tufts University and a master’s degree in Elementary Education & Teaching from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Before joining LWP, she was a teacher in public schools for four years, after which she was eager to apply her communication and organization skills in a setting that helps people reach their goals. She still enjoys working and volunteering with children and was recently a Girls on the Run coach. In her free time, she loves hot yoga, reading memoirs, and trying new restaurants.
